In such cases, Licentia operates as a consulting and facilitation entity, and will, where authorised, appoint and coordinate suitable registered professionals to execute the required deliverables.

Where statutory sign-off, specialist reports, or technical documentation is required by law or local authority practice, Licentia may facilitate the appointment of appropriate registered professionals and/or specialist service providers and coordinate the process to finalisation under the client mandate or SLA.
Licentia provides consulting, compliance support, and process facilitation in relation to music licensing and public performance requirements applicable to businesses that play, broadcast, or communicate music to the public, including:
and any related compliance renewals, confirmations, correspondence, and supporting submissions.
Licentia does not issue music licences itself. Where music licences are required, they are administered by the relevant third-party rights organisations and/or collecting societies. Licentia’s role is to:

Licentia provides consulting, compliance support, and process facilitation in relation to trade registration and statutory entity administration, including engagement with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (C.I.P.C.) and related statutory processes under applicable South African frameworks.

Licentia does not represent itself as C.I.P.C. or SARS, and does not replace statutory bodies. Licentia’s role is to advise, prepare, coordinate, submit, where permitted, follow up, and manage compliance workflows under a client mandate or SLA, and, where required, to facilitate appropriate third-party professional input.

Certain approvals, certificates, plans, and specialist deliverables required for regulated licensing, permits, and compliance processes must be prepared, certified, or issued by competent authorities and/or registered professionals. In these instances, Licentia acts as the consulting and coordination entity, managing the process, evidence packs, readiness preparation, stakeholder engagement, and workflow to finalisation under a mandate/SLA.
Where third parties are engaged, Licentia may share necessary client and business information strictly for the purpose of obtaining or maintaining compliance, and subject to this Privacy Notice.

Licentia manages the process to finalisation within the scope of the mandate/SLA, including evidence compilation, submission coordination, query management, and stakeholder engagement.
Where land use, rezoning, or consent-use processes are required, Licentia provides consulting and feasibility guidance, including review of municipal by-laws and planning requirements.
Applications requiring professional town planning, specialist technical motivation, or legal submissions will be executed by:

Licentia may provide consulting and compliance support involving engagement with economic regulators and statutory bodies that regulate operations, authorisations, compliance reporting, and approvals relevant to the client’s business activities.
Where regulator-specific mandates, specialist representation, or sector-specific technical submissions are required, Licentia will scope and confirm this under the client mandate/SLA and may facilitate the appointment of suitable specialists and/or professional firms.
